Betsy Stewart has almost ten years of experience advising and representing local governmental entities, state agencies, and their employees in Colorado and West Virginia.

Her experience includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Municipal Law;
  • Employment Law Matters;
  • Civil Rights Claims;
  • Implementation and Compliance with local ordinances and State and Federal Statutes;
  • Legislative Monitoring and Analysis; and
  • General Legal Research and Analysis for Local Governmental Entities.

Her desire to advise governmental entities stems from her parents’ background as public servants. She believes that the best way to advance the goals of the local government is to ensure that its officials, appointees, and employees are supported in a manner that is effective, well-informed, and efficient.

Betsy earned her Bachelor of Arts in History from West Virginia University and her JD from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. In her free time, Betsy enjoys exploring Colorado, yoga, reading, and spending time with her dog Ruthie.
